Jacob Monastra

Jacob is a recent college graduate with degrees in Sociology and Psychology from Hope College, and has spent time as a Conference & Events Coordinator, a camp counselor(twice over now), a three-time research assistant, and a student intern for Hope College’s Campus Ministries.

Having spent time living in Miami, Florida & Shanghai, China, Jacob is a huge proponent of urban life in specific contexts, and is extremely grateful for this incredible blessing to live in Austin, Texas. He looks forward to learning and listening to a diverse range of thoughts on religiosity and Christianity specifically, and is quite excited to both learn from and support the community at and around Hill House.

In his free time, he loves listening to YouTube videos from prominent agnostics and Christians alike, playing any sport that has a ball(and even some that don’t, like surfing and running), using his cameras for film and photography side projects, and informally studying urban design/planning in order to one day formally become an urban planner.
