Charlotte Weir
Charlotte first experienced her call to ministry at a powerful week of summer camp in early high school. Attending a classical Christian school growing up, she came to deeply value the intersection of faith and her education leading her to attend Baylor University. She graduated this May with a BBA in Entrepreneurship and Religion after serving as the chaplain and philanthropy marketing chair of her sorority, Chi Omega.
The most formative aspect of college for Charlotte was Church Under the Bridge, a church serving the poor and marginalized under the I-35 bridge in Waco. Serving and worshipping alongside a diverse congregation, Charlotte’s understanding of hospitality was challenged and enriched as she witnessed the hospitality of the gospel break down socioeconomic walls. Having also served in leadership over several summers at camp, she has developed a passion for serving college and high school students. She is looking forward to serving at Hill House and witnessing her love of learning, hospitality, and student ministry work together.
Though entering her fifth year of living in Texas, Charlotte is a seventh generation Floridian from Orlando, the youngest of three siblings, and a proud Aunt to Daisy. She loves being outside, whether it is reading or playing sports, is an avid crafter, and always is finding an excuse to host a party!
